One of Darians Friends new that velcro has moved on and she new Darian was heart broken,She had told Deonna she had some Kittens and we surprised Darian .She was so happy to have this little guy but said Velcro was her love and misses him so! We all miss velli and still have our moments.

Just wanted to say that we had lost velcro this afternoon.He had a relaps from his treatment and we made the decision to put him to sleep ,all the medicine that he was taking was not the life we wanted for him. He was a happy guy before all the meds and he was not being a kitty .We will miss him greatly and we are glad he enjoyed a great life for the two years he spent with us.one last call to him as we all had a different name for him , Mermell,merrrrr,mistermister,and velli

BadBoys are back

Well this Saturday was a great day the weather was perfect,We arrived at 7am and my first stop was to play with Rookie He was so Happy to see me we spent about 1 hr just grooming and playing the friendly game .His strangles is almost gone and he is in very good spirits :) .well it was time for me yo due my chores and cube all the old guys and clean the barn. Now its time to play and I headed of to get Numerous He was also in a great mood and I decided to just ride him from the pasture back to the barn area which I have never done before . Wow that was fun ! Numerous had his first bath of the year and he cleans up pretty good ,shinny and clean .as the day went on I decided to ride Numerous back to his pasture and I had put Parana spray on him what a ride that was I started to trot and his back was like he had armor all on it and I slid right off his back I was laughing so hard that the folks watching me thought I was telling him to stop .I slid around his neck and he slowed down and stop ed for me .I guess all the Parelli Training has worked I just have some awesome Horses. Well for now

Velcro Darians Cat

Well we had a scare! We were positive we would have to put Velcro to sleep. He has a problem with his rump like ebs .we wanted to have surgery on him but he was born with a bad heart mummer and we almost lost him at the time he was nuttered .The vet told us we could not do surgery because he would not make it to fix his ebs so the vet worked her magic and put everything back to gether and he was able to come home.He is a walking pharmacy for awhile and thats ok .Darian is so Happy .

Rookie is sick

Went to the ranch today and groomed Numerous and did a little riding bareback ,as always Numerous was very well behaved .We really enjoy riding bareback so we must purchase a Parelli bareback pad ,maybe I will hint for my birthday in may Ha ha!!.Played with Rookie before I came Home and for a guy who has Strangles he is pretty active .It must be all the 4 flex that I give my Horses it has all the vitamins and minerals they need in their diet.He is still eating and Looks great except for his chin It has broken open and is draining well I looked like a surgeon with my blue rubber gloves as we were playing in the quarantine pen. I want him to keep moving so their will be no opportunity for colic . We had a good time playing and we ate peppermints together .Will keep you posted on his progress as time goes on .

Sunday Learning Parelli

Today started out great until I went to get the BadBoys and Numerous was fine but Rookie may have strangles. I noticed on Saturday he was breathing like he had a plugged nose and today his jaw has a lump . so Rookie is in Isolation.He is not a Happy camper in that small stall. Now on a good note Numerous and did some games and a Little bareback riding .This time we rode from the tack room and through the mare motel and back to the pasture I was a little concerned about the wind but Numerous was Great.Then when we reached the small turn out we rode sideways down the fence and back to the pasture Numerous was a perfect gentleman he is coming along very well.

Then Sunday and I worked on some games and played the touch it game ,We walked over logs and went up the tri level steps and back down Sundays confidence is perfect .He could be as good or better than the big Boys .Then Will came into the picture when we was in the round pen ,so I started working with will we also did the seven games .Will is a very smart horse it only took phase 2 to get him to do the circle game ,the yo yo and to move your rear. If rookie will be down for awhile this will give me more time with the Little dudes.Well for now
