BadBoys Play Day

Well this weekend was pretty great .Rookie and Numerous went on a stroll in the trees with Jet and Reasons on Saturday .For me it was cool because I had both the boys at once ,and they behaved very well . We trotted all at the same time and they both were on the same page as I was. We did a little light riding bareback and under saddle. Rookie played the touch it game and put his hoof on a stool, it was interesting .then we did the circling game and I was running beside him That was fun then we headed to the barrel and he put his hoof on the barrel then stepped over That was cool .Little Sunday and I played the step up game onto the new wash rack then Deonna took over and he went right up What a big step for him . we also trimmed his hoofs today .Well that it for this weekend .

Riding Bareback Playday

Well this weekend was hectic Hospitals and lots of visitors. It was just Darian on Sunday . We are Keeping a close eye on little Sunday we hope that he doesn't get strangles .his play mates have it and have separated and all he has now is little will. Rookie and Numerous went on our walk today and we did some bareback riding with both .They are doing so well with the hackamore Parelli halter both of them are so relaxed they are very light and responsive ,no head tossing at all .Numerous and I even trotted around and then I changed to Rookie and Numerous was right beside us behaving and being perfect .Parelli has really changed our relationship . The BadBoys were at the back of the turnout and I walked in and just sat in the sand and the bout walked up to me and nudged me on the shoulder. Yeah I was proud Ha ha!!!

BadBoys Weekend

Hello all, This weekend was back to the usual Saturday Rookie and I did some riding we were trying new bits and riding with the hackamore .Rookie really likes using the hackamore and responds extreamly well .When we use the bit he strugles and we have changed bits and if you have sugestions let me know.Sunday Numerous and I rode and gave rides to little sam she just loves Rookie and Nummy as she call him . The Boys will have their Hoofs trimmed on monday and Numerous will have his teeth floated on the 24th I hope this will help him from chewing on the bit and beeing mouthy. See you next weekend .
